Michael A. Eleruja, MS, MBChB

Michael Eleruja is a 3rd year PhD student who joined the Cerebral & Cardiovascular Physiology Laboratory in December 2024. He received his medical degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.

 

Michael’s love for research prompted him to pause his clinical practice in order to obtain his Master’s degree at Central Washington University in Integrative Human Physiology.

 

Michael is working on his PhD dissertation, which is focused on the impact of aging on simulated hemorrhage and Pulsatile Perfusion Therapy. Michael hopes to make an impact in the scientific world through creative and translatable research ideas.

 

Outside of his research, Michael enjoys having fun with friends, playing video games and listening to music.
