Recruiting Research Participants

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following research study:

Pulsatile Perfusion Therapy with MRI (PPT-MRI):

Advancing Oscillatory Blood Flow as a Therapeutic Approach to Treat Cerebral Ischemia and Hypoxia

​

Description:
The Cerebral & Cardiovascular Physiology Laboratory at the University of North Texas Health Fort Worth (UNT Health) is recruiting participants to take part in a study assessing a new therapy that may improve blood flow and oxygen in the brain and heart.

 

You must be:

  • Healthy

  • Young:18–40 years old

  • Older: at least 60 years old

  • Non-nicotine/tobacco user

​

Study Requirements:

  • 4 sessions, 2–3 hours per session.

  • Participation in this study is voluntary, and if you are a student or employee of UNT Health your participation (or non-participation) in this study will in no way affect your academic standing or employment.

  • Participants will be compensated $200 for their time.
